Our Management Team

Engr Chris Nwokolo is a Chartered Petroleum Engineer with the Energy Council in Nigeria/UK. He is an astute energy expert with a passion for upstream/midstream asset development, gas technologies, Floating GasSolutions, Gas Derivatives, Gas to Power and Flare Gas Commercialization.

He is the Group CEO of the Ace Energy Group which is a vertically integrated energy infrastructure development company. Under his leadership Ace Energy is pushing boundaries and breaking gas ceilings in the area of large scale gas commercialization, FLNG Technologies, Gas Derivatives and its application to the proliferation of light and medium scale industries and gas flare commercialization/utilization.

He is at the forefront of 3MTPA Ace FLNG Project and is driving innovations in flare gas technologies for stranded assets as well as expansion of gas/energy storage and gas to power infrastructure across Africa. 

Prior to leading the Ace Energy Group, Engr Chris Nwokolo worked in SEPLAT in several roles including as the Gas Interface Operations Manager where he captioned organic expansion of SEPLAT's gas business with many wins. Prior to working in SEPLAT, He had an impactful time with SNEPCO in the Development function. He also had a brief stint with Chevron. 

Engr. Chris has previously served on the board of the Lagos Section of SPE in several capacities. He holds an undergraduate degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Benin and an MSC in Reservoir Evaluation and Management from Heriot Watt University
